PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst-coated body and a photocatalytic coating liquid achieving high photocatalytic degradation activity even when a coating film is formed with a thickness exceeding 2 μm so as to suppress deterioration in an enamel-coated surface or a clear-coated surface.SOLUTION: In the photocatalyst-coated body provided with a photocatalytic layer on the surface of a base material, the photocatalytic layer is obtained by applying the photocatalytic coating liquid and then drying it. The photocatalytic coating liquid has a photocatalytic metal oxide particle, a hydrophilic silica particle and a curable silicone emulsion. The hydrophilic silica particle is partially covered or modified with a material having a hydrophobic group.
