PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform the attenuation compensation of an analog signal even when a cable to use is changed.SOLUTION: The analog signals R, G, B are transmitted from a transmitter 3 to a receiver 4 via cables 2. When a user inputs information concerning the kinds of the cables 2 in use by the use of a cable information input part 8, an amplification factor selecting part 9 selects amplification factors (a first amplification factor for low-pass compensation and a second amplification factor for high-pass compensation) for the cables from an amplification factor preserving part 7. When the user operates a variable designating part 11, adjustments (the adjustment of the amplification factors selected by the amplification factor selecting part 9) are performed in response to the lengths of the cables 2. Then, the low-pass or high-pass attenuation compensation is performed through the use of a first attenuation compensating part 5 and a second attenuation compensating part 6 by using the adjusted amplification factors. The attenuation compensation of the analog signals are appropriately performed even when the cables to use are changed. |
