PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element having a notch part with excellent positioning accuracy.SOLUTION: The planar heating element includes an electric-insulating base material 1, an electrode consisting of a pair of power supplying electrodes 3a, 3b formed on the electric-insulating base material 1 by screen printing and comb-shaped connection electrodes 2a, 2b alternatively branched out from the power supplying electrodes 3a, 3b, and arranged, respectively, a polymer resistor 4 screen-printed laminated on the electrode and generating heat through power supply from the electrode, and notch parts 7a, 7b formed at sites where the electrode of the electric-insulating base material 1 and the polymer resistor 4 do not exist. The notch parts 7a, 7b are formed and set based on markings 8a, 8b which are applied simultaneously with one of either the electrode formed by printing or the polymer resistor. |
