The invention relates to a device (D) for processing data relating to calls involving at least one user. Said device (D) includes i) an analysis means (MA) responsible for analysing data relating to incoming and/or outgoing calls from at least one communication terminal (T) belonging to a user in order to determine selected information relating to said calls and to every other user, referred to as a “contact”, involved in at least one of said calls; and ii) a processing means (MT) responsible for assigning a weight to every call involving the user according to predetermined information for said call and at least one selected rule, and then creating a file of contact data in which each contact is given an overall weight equal to the sum of the weights assigned to each call which involves said contact and which also involves the user.
