<p>The meter has a computer module powered via a meter-buslink, and an integrated circuit (1) e.g. TSS721/TSSS721A integrated circuit, for acting as a communication interface between the computer module and the meter-buslink. The integrated circuit outputs a direct-current signal for supplying the computer module over an output connection (10).
