<p>A Christmas tree (100) is used between production tubing elevation (PE) and flow line elevation (FE). The tree has a lower portion (102), an intermediate portion (104), and an upper portion (106). The intermediate portion (104) is positioned between the production tubing elevation (PE) and the flow line elevation (FE) and has an axial dimension configured to substantially maintain the axial dimension between the elevations. The intermediate portion has first and second shut-off valves (120, 122) for closing fluid communication of the axial bore. A hanger (150) is positioned in the axial bore of the intermediate portion between the first and second shut-off valves. The hanger defines a bore (154) and a port (158). The port communicates a side of the hanger with the lower end of the hanger. The coil tubing attaches to the port at the lower end of the hanger, and the port at the side of the hanger communicates with the feed line (132) of the intermediate portion.</p> |
