COLOR LASER PRINTER IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD BY ANALYZING STATISTICAL FEATURES ON DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM

PURPOSE: A color laser printer identification system by analyzing statistical features on discrete wavelet transform, and a method thereof are provided to discriminate the forgery of an output material by generating specific points of the information in vector after converting the output material into color image information. CONSTITUTION: A scanning unit(100) converts an output material into color image information, and a specific point extractor(300) extracts the standard deviation, kurtosis, skewness, covariance and correlation coefficient of a divided image. A vector converter(400) converts the standard deviation, the kurtosis, the skewness, the covariance and the correlation coefficient into vector coordinate values. According to a generated printer decision model, a printer decision unit(500) induces printer information and toner information.
