PURPOSE: A structure for combining a flange to a cast-iron pipe and a coupling method thereof are provided to strongly fix a flange to a cast iron pipe since filter is hardened in order to couple the flange with the cast iron pipe. CONSTITUTION: A structure for combining a flange to a cast-iron pipe comprises a cast iron pipe(10), a flange(20), a filler(30), and a filling space(40). When the flange is inserted into the cast iron pipe, a lower finishing portion(24) of the flange is mounted on a flange placing portion(14a) of a lower rim(14) of the cast iron pipe. The filling space is formed between a filling groove(12) of the cast iron pipe and the inner groove(22) of the flange. An injecting portion(42) is formed between the rim(16) of the cast iron pipe and the upper finishing portion(26) of the flange. The filling space is filled with the filler through the injecting portion. If the filler is hardened, the cast iron pipe and the flange are combined by the filler.
