PURPOSE: A producing method of spherical active carbon is provided to produce the spherical active carbon with the size greater than 2mm and the proper crush strength, and to secure the excellent microorganism removal effect of the active carbon. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of spherical active carbon comprises the following steps: preparing a first sol by mixing isopropanol with titanium tetraisopropoxide or titanium n-butoxide in a mixture ratio of 40~80:1(S102); doping copper chloride to the isopropanol for forming a second sol, and stirring the first sol and the second sol before activating to make a copper chloride doped titanium dioxide activation sol mixture(S104,S106); adding coconut shell powder and distilled water to the sol mixture, and hydrolyzing precipitates to form the coconut shell powder synthesized with copper and a titanium dioxide photo catalyst(S108,S110); condensing the coconut shell powder for removing air, a solvent, and the distilled water(S112); and mixing the coconut shell powder with glue and drying for 4~10hours after molding into a spherical shape(S114,S116,S118). |
