PURPOSE: A leakage confirmation method of an individual storage tank and an apparatus thereof for reducing a cost are provided to rapidly confirm the exact leakage location by detecting the test gas. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for determining leakage location in independence type storage tank includes a tank body(11), a heat-insulating panel(12), and pipes and a gas sensitive detector. The tank body is manufactured of the aluminum alloy. The heat-insulating panel is composed of the polyurethanes. The pipe is formed between the tank body and the heat-insulating panel. The pipe injects the test gas within a gap(13). The pipe is installed in order to pass through the heat-insulating panel.
