PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terahertz spectroscopic system which is low cost, as well as, being simple in configuration.SOLUTION: Terahertz signals used for measurement are irradiated to a measuring object 100 at a plurality of limited single frequencies; the intensity ratio of transmitted wave or reflected wave at each frequency is calculated and is compared with the intensity ratios of candidate substances; and a candidate substance where the error of the intensity ratio is to lie within a predetermined range is specified. Thus, a candidate substance contained in the measuring object 100 is specified at low cost. |
