PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a sound signal excellent in reproducibility and even a considerably large sound pressure is not distorted when it is inputted, in a capacitor microphone.SOLUTION: In a capacitor microphone, a microphone element 10 converts a change of capacitance between a movable electrode and a fixed electrode, dependent on the sound pressure, into a voltage signal or an acoustic-electric conversion signal ms. An amplitude control circuit 16 provided in a microphone circuit 12 monitors the amplitude value of a preamplifier output signal MS outputted from a preamplifier 14, and when the amplitude value exceeds a predetermined monitoring value, applies a reverse phase signal cshaving a waveform of reverse phase (reversal of polarity) and a relatively low amplitude for the acoustic-electric conversion signal ms to one side of the microphone element 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
