PURPOSE: A hybrid type molten carbonate fuel cell is provided to realize efficient heat management and simplification of overall structure and to ensure efficient sealability for gas. CONSTITUTION: A unit cell(72) used in a molten carbonate fuel cell includes a pair of an anode plate and a cathode plate, a matrix plate which is located between the anode plate and the cathode plate and comprises molten carbonate electrolyte, and a metal separation plate which enables flow of gas between the anode plate and the cathode plate, and the cathode plate and the metal separation plate.
