PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging forming apparatus capable of performing processing for preventing data of a transmission waiting document, an address book, etc., from being deleted and so forth during a period from the reception of a disaster-occurrence prediction notification from a disaster alarm or the like up to a practical operation stop caused by a disaster, and to provide an image formation system including the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When a fire occurs in an office 5, a fire alarm 11 detects the occurrence of a fire and notifies a connected multifunction machine 100 of the occurrence the fire. The multifunction machine 100 receiving fire-occurrence notification starts job control for the occurrence the disaster, cancels the reception of an incoming job which may be burnt down even if the job is received and output, transfers system data or the like to a server 6 of a data center, and as for a job to be transmitted, determines a communication means for completing the transmission of the job within the shortest time by using an ENUM server 7, and transmits the job by the communication means. The multifunction machine 100 continues the transmission of the transmitting job until an operation stop caused by the fire. |
