PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal transportation device which can be customized so as to be used on various modes of sliding surfaces (a personal transportation device with a blade for ice skate connected thereto).SOLUTION: The personal transportation device includes the blade 36 for ice skate which allows a user to slide on a sliding surface while controlling an advancing direction; a foot platform 14 situated above the blade 36 as viewed from the sliding surface, the foot platform supporting the user's foot so that the longitudinal direction of the user's foot crosses the advancing direction of the blade 36; and at least one fastener 30 connecting the foot platform 14 to the blade 36. The user obtains a propulsion force by swinging operation of the feet by the use of a pair of such personal transportation devices.
