The device has a lamp retaining body (24) provided with an opening (28) for a support of a lamp, and an outer surface (30), where the support is rotated around a rotation axis. A flexible lamp holder strip (26) accommodates the lamp in form-fit manner. The strip and the outer surface exhibit guiding structures (32, 34) engaged with one another. Radial distance between points of the strip and the rotation axis is set to a minimum value so that clamping devices (40) of the strip are inwardly moved until reaching the minimum value of the radial distance under deformation of the strip.
