PURPOSE: Feed-back channel allocation device and method in a wireless communication system are provided to maintain minimum overheat for hybrid automatic repeat request(HARQ) feed-back channel allocation regardless of the bandwidth of channels by transmitting a HARQ feed-back channel generating variable to the HARQ feed-back channel allocation information of a data packet. CONSTITUTION: A base station confirms the maximum number of band units included in a sub-frame and the maximum number of data packets allocated in the band units(201). The base station allocates resources in order to transmit and receive the data packets(203). The base station confirms a band unit number including the starting position of the data packets(205). The base station allocates a HARQ feed-back channel generating variable to the data packets(207).
