PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light-emitting device for preventing generation of luminance unevenness, with the smaller number of light sources used, and with superb appearance.SOLUTION: The planar light-emitting device includes a light guide plate emitting light incident from an end face from a light-emitting face, a plurality of point light sources fitted in opposition to an end face of the light guide plate, a diffusing member fitted at a light-emitting face side of the light guide plate, and a spacer member for specifying a given space between the light-emitting face and the diffusing member so that a distance from the light-emitting face to the diffusing member is to be larger than a thickness of the light guide plate. |
