PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball packing machine for obtaining a packing body which accommodates a sheet of seaweed and a rice ball separately.SOLUTION: A strip film F, in which sheetlike seaweed is inserted between two strip films and the periphery of the strip film F is partly sealed, is laminated windingly and accommodated in a storing box 42. The strip film F is pulled out from the storing box 42, converted its posture from horizontal to vertical during conveying, and conveyed to a downstream side while maintaining the standing posture along the lateral part of a supplying conveyer 12. A rice ball 10 is dropped and supplied from the supplying conveyer 12 into the strip film F formed in a C shape by a bag manufacturing means 16 so that the rice ball is dropped at a position where the sheetlike seaweed is accommodated. A laminated edge part of a cylindrical film F, which is obtained by laminating in a mountain shape at one side, is continuously sealed by a longitudinal seal means 20 on the downstream side of the bag manufacturing means 16. The lateral seal means 22 laterally seals the front and back positions of each of the rice balls 10 supplied to the film F and cuts at the positions, thereby the packing body of the rice ball 10 can be obtained. |
