PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a device for forming a fin collar of a heat exchanging fin by which production lead time is made short, the scale of a die is miniaturized, the cost of the die is made low and the height of the fin collar is made uniform over the entire circumference.SOLUTION: A metal pool forming stage is a stage where a metal pool is formed with an upper die and a lower die on which a forging die is provided. A forging die is divided into a fixed forging part and a movable forging part and, by controlling pressing force against the plate fin base stock of the movable forging part, the metal pool is formed in a portion on the opposite side to the movable forging part of the fixed forging part. |
