PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting assist apparatus which easily deals with work formation change when the number of products to be manufactured is changed without being subject to limitation on the process arrangement and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: A component mounting assist apparatus 10 includes: an apparatus body 1 which is formed so as to move along a rail member 6 installed on a floor surface or a ceiling; an arm member 2 connected to the apparatus body; and a holding member 3 which is supported by a tip part 21 of the arm member so as to move in a vertical direction. The component mounting assist apparatus 10 assists work for mounting a vehicle component W engaged with the holding member to a predetermined position in a vehicle S. A balance cylinder 4 is installed in the apparatus body 1 and a piston rod 41 of the balance cylinder is connected to the holding member 3 through a flexible cable 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
