PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable trank roller of a caterpillar track type travel vehicle, capable of coping with high speed travel, and suppressing increase in cost and in heating amount due to a floating seal by suppressing increase in size of the floating seal.SOLUTION: A trank roller constitutes a part of a caterpillar track type travel vehicle. It includes a roller 2, a shaft 1, seal means 31, 32 installed at both ends and retainers 3, 4, with a structure constituted of a pair of conical roller bearings 11,12 in which bearing means arranged on left and right sides are capped over the shaft 1. A threaded part 6 is provided at a part of inner diameter of at least one retainer 4 among the retainers. Means for transmitting a clamping torque for providing a pressure to the conical roller bearings 11, 12 to one retainer 4 is set near the outside of a threaded part outer diameter 7. By making the threaded part outer diameter 7 to be a diameter which is a minimum requirement for a screw intensity of the threaded part 6 increase in size of the floating seal 32 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
