PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of improving assemblability of temperature detection means.SOLUTION: The electric motor includes a rotor rotatably provided to a brush mount 1, a plurality of brushes that are reciprocatively fixed to the brush mount 1 toward the rotor and are in slide contact with the rotor, a thermistor 10 that includes a lead wire 12 and functions as a temperature detection means capable of detecting the temperatures of the brushes, and a post 20 where a base end is mounted to the brush mount 1 and the lead wire 12 is electrically connected. |
