PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-winder device capable of dispensing with mounting, disassembling, reassembling, and testing of a spacer or a shim.SOLUTION: The pre-winder device 10 has a body connected with a driving tool for mounting a spiral coil-shaped insert. An adaptor is rotatable and is releasably connected with the body at a position where an operator can select. A pre-winder section 14 displaces in/out of the body. The pre-winder section 14 linearly moves inside the body until a fastener connected with the pre-winder section comes in contact with a stop member for determining a designated depth of a spiral coil-shaped insert. A mandrel axially expands from the pre-winder section when the pre-winder section moves in the body so as to rotatably insert the spiral coil-shaped insert. A clutch makes the mandrel connect with and separate from a driving member. A second clutch, namely, a stalling device stops the driving tool after inserting a coil. |
