PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried pipe detection device for ensuring the accuracy for detecting a position of piping even if a ground electrode can not be inserted in the ground.SOLUTION: The buried pipe detection device 10 detects the position of an underground buried part 2b of the piping 2 by carrying an AC current to the conductive piping 2 partially buried in the ground 1 and detecting a magnetic field generated by the underground buried part 2b of the piping from a surface of the ground 10, and includes: a first conductor 5 for establishing an electrical connection with an exposed part 2a of the piping above the ground; a second conductor 6 having a conductive planar element 7 formed by a conductive wire rod disposed in a plurality of directions in a plane; and an AC power supply 8 for carrying the AC current to the piping 2 by applying an AC voltage between a first output terminal 8a electrically connected to the first conductor 5 and a second output terminal 8b electrically connected to the second conductor 6. |
