MODIFIED CONJUGATED DIENE-AROMATIC VINYL COPOLYMER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND COPOLYMER COMPOSITION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified conjugated diene-aromatic vinyl copolymer having excellent balance between low hysteresis loss and wet skid resistance when made into a vulcanizate including an inorganic filler and also satisfying practically sufficient abrasion resistance and fracture strength, a method for producing the same, and a modified conjugated diene-aromatic vinyl copolymer composition thereof.SOLUTION: The modified conjugated diene-aromatic vinyl copolymer comprises a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound. The bonding amount of the conjugated diene is 50-85 mass% and the bonding amount of the aromatic vinyl is 15-50 mass% in the copolymer. The copolymer has a functional group including a silyl group substituted with one or more alkoxy groups and one or more nitrogen atoms at one end of the polymer chain and a polymer block whose bonding amount of the conjugated diene is higher than the average composition of the copolymer and whose weight-average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene obtained from gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is 2,000-50,000 at the other end of the polymer chain.
