PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a diesel particulate filter (DPF) by precluding worsening of the fuel consuming performance of an engine.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas post-treatment device of a construction machine equipped with the DPF 13 to capture the particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas, is furnished with a PM deposition amount/regeneration amount sensing means 64 to sense the deposition amount and/or the regeneration amount of the particulate matter per unit time at the DPF 13, and the deposition amount and/or the regeneration amount of the particulate matter per unit time sensed by the PM deposition amount sensing means 64 is displayed on a monitor 5 installed in a cab 3.
