PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element with high emission efficiency, to provide a light-emitting element with a long lifetime and high reliability, or to provide a light-emitting element having a low driving voltage.SOLUTION: A first luminescent layer in contact with a hole-transport layer, and a second luminescent layer in contact with the first luminescent layer containing a bipolar host material and a luminescent substance are provided, and the hole transportability of the first luminescent layer is higher than that of the second luminescent layer. A recombination region of holes and electrons is preferably provided in the luminescent layer. Also, the hole transport layer preferably contains an anti-reducing substance. |
