PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel anti-inflammatory agent and further provide a highly effective and highly safe medicament as a result of clarification of the action of vitamin K3 contained in the novel anti-inflammatory agent as an active ingredient; and to provide a treatment method using the anti-inflammatory agent containing vitamin K3 as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: Vitamin K3 exhibits an anti-inflammatory action in experiments using cultured cells and testing on animals. It has been confirmed that the action of vitamin K3 is extremely greater than that of vitamin K1 or vitamin K2.
