PURPOSE: An ATSC-MH packet type finder and an ATSC-MH broadcast signal generator for detecting the validity of the extracted MHE packet are provided to detect whether a receiving signal is ATSC receiving unit result data or the MHE packet of an ATSC-MH MUX according to the validity of the MHE packet. CONSTITUTION: A signaling data extracting unit of an ATSC-MH packet type finder(120) performs de-formatting and convolutional coding about the PID. The signaling data extracting unit extracts the data presumed as signaling data. The ATSC validation unit of the ATSC-MH packet type finder determines the validity as the signaling data. The ATSC validation unit determines whether the packets are valid as the MHE packet. |
