PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten user's waiting time in an apparatus which performs an authentication of user through an image authentication.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 is connected to a terminal device 110 through a network. A printing claimant 120 asking for printing is searched by the terminal device 110. The image forming apparatus includes a search measuring means for measuring the distance between the printing claimant 120 and the image forming apparatus 100, a printing-completion-time calculation means for computing the printing completion time required to complete the demanded printing, and CPU 101 functioning as an arbitration means for arbitrating the printing operation. |
