PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for permanent magnet type rotary electric machine that improves accuracy in detection of the rotational angle of a rotor by improving its saliency.SOLUTION: The rotor includes conductive circuits 34 each of which surrounds a plurality of permanent magnets 33 arranged at a rotor core 32. The conductive circuit 34 includes a pair of first conductors 40 which are arranged between the permanent magnets 33 and extend in the direction of a rotating shaft 31, and the interval between the fellow insides 45 of the pair of first conductors 40 is set to be larger than the circumferential width of the permanent magnet 33, and besides, to be equal to or below the interval between the fellow opposite end faces 46 of other permanent magnets 33 which adjoin each other on both sides of a specified permanent magnet 33 among permanent magnets 33 which are successive in its circumferential direction. |
