PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-quality electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC) easily.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the electric double-layer capacitor, a belt including anode and cathode electrodes on both surfaces of a separator is prepared, a rotor in which an outer peripheral surface has a flat surface is prepared, one end of the belt is fixed onto the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, and the rotor is rotated. Thus the belt is wound onto the outer peripheral surface. Then, the belt stacked on the flat surface of the outer peripheral surface of the rotor is cut along a thickness direction of the belt, thus manufacturing a laminate of cut pieces of the belt. Then, the laminate is enclosed into a surrounding body. An electrolyte is suitably enclosed into the surrounding body along with the laminate. |
