PURPOSE: A current time display method for updating the current time in real-time is provided to display the current time on a front display by receiving the current time through an interface with a contents supply server. CONSTITUTION: In case a television is an power-on-state, a microcomputer receives current time of the television through an HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface). The microcomputer displays the current time on a front display(S13). In case the television is in a power-off-state, the microcomputer is connected through a network module to a specific CP(Contents Providing) server(S14). The microcomputer displays the current time by an interface with the specific CP server(S15).
