METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLICATION POWER MANAGEMENT

Various methods for application power management are provided. One example method includes accessing a power management application schedule. The power management application schedule may include an indication of an active period for a given application and an indication of an inactive period for the given application. The given application may be configured to facilitate a performance of repetitive radio transmissions to a destination device to maintain the given application. The example method may also include determining whether to permit activation of the given application based on the power management application schedule. Similar and related example methods and example apparatuses are also provided.
