The container (1) has a lower shell (7) and an upper shell (7') connected with the lower shell. The upper shell and the lower shell are formed as box shaped plastic pieces. A zip fastener (6) is provided for closing and opening the container. The edge area (11) of the lower shell or the upper shell of the edge (9) is embedded in the corresponding plastic connecting profile (4) opposite to a holding strip (10). The plastic connecting profiles are connected with the lower shell or the upper shell and the holding strips of zip fastener halves (5,5').
