<p>Provided is a dye-sensitized solar cell having a sealing means which is not impaired by electrolyte or sunlight because a gasket can be fixed to a photoelectrode or a counter electrode without using an adhesive so that long term reliability of the sealed state is ensured, wherein the dye-sensitized solar cell has a sealing means for sealing an electrolyte layer between a photoelectrode and a counter electrode, and the sealing means is a lip-shaped gasket made of an elastic material, sandwiched between the photoelectrode and the counter electrode, and fixed by a retaining means formed in the photoelectrode or the counter electrode so as to seal the electrolyte layer.</p> |
