PURPOSE: A compound electric generating apparatus using tidal power and wave power is provided to reduce device purchase costs and installation costs since a tidal power generation unit and a wave power generation unit are integrated with each other. CONSTITUTION: A compound electric generating apparatus comprises a post(10), a tidal power generation unit(20), a wave power generation unit(30), and an electric power converting unit. The wave power generation unit is integrated with the top of the tidal power generation unit. The wave power generation unit produces the electricity using the vertical kinetic energy of waves. The electric power converting unit changes the electricity generated by the wave power generation unit and the tidal power generation unit into the fixed voltage of the frequency. The tidal power generation unit comprises a seawater guide pipe(21), a pivot axis(23), and a generator(25). The seawater guide pipe is installed in the post to be rotatable. The pivot axis is installed inside the seawater guide pipe by a bearing(22) in order to be rotatable. The pivot axis is rotated with the drive of a propeller(24) equipped with multiple blades(24a). |
