PURPOSE: A treatment method and an apparatus for tar water generated from a gasification process are provided to economically install the apparatus, by removing a facility for separately eliminating tar. CONSTITUTION: A treatment method for tar water generated from a gasification process comprises the following: a gasifier(10) performing the gasification with polymer liquid waste and polymer solid organic compounds, using water and oxygen supplied from the exterior; a sensible heat boiler(20) collecting sensible heat from decomposition gas discharged from the gasifier; a cooler(30); a tar water re-circulator re-circulating tar water generated from the decomposition gas; a dust collector(40) collecting dust from the decomposition gas; a purifier(50) removing acidic gas and oxides; an aqueous gas shift reactor(60) switching carbon monoxide and steam into carbon dioxide and hydrogen; and a PSA(pressure swing absorbent) gas separator(70).
