<p>A coupling device (1) includes axially opposed first and second members (21, 22) that are axially moved relative to each other to couple or decouple the first and second members (21, 22) with or from each other. First and second circular rows of teeth (31, 32) for positioning the first and second members (21, 22) in a circumferential direction upon their engagement are coaxially provided on respective mating surfaces of the first and second members. Also, contact areas (33, 34) are employed on the mating surfaces of the first and second members, respectively, for positioning the first and second members in an axial direction when axially opposed, respective contact faces (33a, 34a) are brought into contact with each other while the first and second circular rows of the teeth are engaged with each other.</p> |
