PURPOSE: A polymerization reactor for a super absorbent resin, and a method for producing the super absorbent resin are provided to obtain the super absorbent resin with the excellent matter property and the uniform polymerization property. CONSTITUTION: A polymerization reactor for a super absorbent resin comprises a reaction unit(P2), a monomer composition feed unit(P1), a stirring axis(50), stirring blades(55), and a light radiation unit(45). The monomer composition feed unit is connected to the reaction unit to supply a monomer composition solution containing a monomer, a photopolymerization initiator, and a solvent. The stirring blades are installed on the edge of the stirring axis. The light radiation unit supplies light to the monomer composition solution.
