PURPOSE: A semiconductor memory device and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize an area where an input driver is occupied by including the input driver that is shared corresponding to a plurality of memory banks. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second write driving part execute the write operation of data corresponding to a first and a second memory bank(410_1,430_2) in response to a first and a second bank strobe signal. A common input driving part transfers data to the first and the second driving part through a common data line in response to the access information of the first and the second memory bank. The first and the second memory bank are stacked.
