An error signal is generated in missing blood contact and the withdrawal of the blood is interrupted. The blood is received over the sting channel as a connection to a blood-giving zone of the body part. The duration of the back pulling phase is selected in the order of magnitude of the duration of the forward movement. The collecting phase is extended in relation to the back pulling phase around 10-10.000 times. The movement of the pricking element is controlled by time detection or position detection.
