PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter which enables accurate alignment.SOLUTION: The cutter 1 has: a placement table 10; a fixing plate 20 for pressing a sheet to the table surface 12; a slider 30; a rail 40, and a ruler member 60 mounted under the table surface of the placement table so as to be turnable. The ruler member 60 has a stepped surface 63 in a recessed position from a front surface 62 the rear surface of which is mounted to turn while slide contacting with the a mounting plate 16 of the placement table. Since the rear surface of the stepped surface 63 is relatively moved to the rail while it slides contacting with a tilted part 17b arranged on the mounting plate 16, the front surface of the ruler member is made flush with the table surface when the ruler member is positioned orthogonally to the rail. Thus a sheet is horizontally placed on the ruler member and table surface, so that the accurate aligning is performed. |
