PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus capable of displaying through-images where no object images overlap even if a photographing lens is not in a focused state while using a pupil division automatic focus.SOLUTION: In a step S901, the amount of the deviation on an imager between an image through a first liquid crystal shutter and an image through a second liquid crystal shutter is calculated. The amount of the deviation is obtained for an image at the center of the imager. In a step S902, an image through the first liquid crystal shutter is moved to the right by a half of the amount of the deviation. Then, an image through the second liquid crystal shutter is moved to the left by a half of the amount of the deviation. In a step S903, the two moved images are added or averaged. Then, in a step S706 of photographing preparation processing, added or averaged images are displayed on an LCD monitor. The addition or averaging is performed for each image pixel. |
