PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional heating and vaporizing type humidifier wherein since entire vaporization water is heated directly, electric power consumption is increased and scale is adhered to a heater in water and wherein since mechanically removed scale is made to enter in a humidification water supply tank without change and no discharge means is provided, water in which scale etc. is condensed is stored in the humidification water supply tank as a result.SOLUTION: A vaporization chamber 15 is formed by a cylinder 6 and a piston 7 installed vertically movably within the cylinder 6. By heating vaporization water injected by a nozzle 2b, steam is generated inside the vaporization chamber 15, and the steam is discharged from a discharge port connected via a backflow prevention valve 3a to outside of an outer casing 13. The piston 7 includes: a remaining water storage part 16 having an inverted cone shape and formed on the upper face; a remaining water discharge passage 17 penetrated from the bottom face of the remaining water storage part 16 to outside of the piston 7; and an opening/closing means for opening/closing the remaining water discharge passage 17. A retaining substance removal means 4 is provided on the upper face of the cylinder 6. |
