PURPOSE: An optical proximity sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce confusion and interface by preventing reflected, refracted, or diffracted light from passing through an optical detector. CONSTITUTION: An infrared radiator(16) is connected to a light radiator driving circuit. The infrared radiator is driven with the light radiator driving circuit. An optical detector(12) is connected to a detector sensing circuit. The optical detector is driven with the detector sensing circuit. An infrared transmission configuration element(31) of a first molding type light transmission is arranged on the optical radiator. An infrared transmission configuration element(32) of a second molding type light transmission is arranged on the optical detector. An infrared transmission configuration element(33) of a molding type light non-transmission is arranged between the infrared transmission configuration elements of the first and second light transmission.
