PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the use of a microcrystalline polyamide for obtaining an article whose an entire or partial external surface consists of the microcrystalline polyamide having a specific surface state.SOLUTION: The production of an article includes a step at an elevated temperature between Tand Tof the microcrystalline polyamide, wherein the degree of transparency of the microcrystalline polyamide shall have optical transmittance of 80% or over determined at a wavelength of 560 nanometer for the article of 1 (one) mm thickness formed by, for example, an injection molding and a sheet extrusion/calendaring process (the degree of transparency of the article shall be obtained by a standard process, for example, an injection molding and a sheet extrusion/calendaring process). The crystallinity of the microcrystalline polyamide [ISO 11357, 40°C/min. first heating in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)] shall be 10% or over to 30% or less, molten enthalpy (ISO 11357, 40°C/min. first heating in DSC) shall be 25 J/g or over and 75 J/g or less, Tshall be 40-90°C, Tshall be 150-200°C and preferably 50 wt.% or over is obtained by ≥C9 monomer chain. |
