PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility icon display adjusting map display that allows a user to readily view maps and POI icons, since maps and POI icons become hard to see, when a large number of POI icons exist on a map display.SOLUTION: A region of map screen instructed by a user is detected, and a processing which displays the facility icons of predetermined kinds on the region indicated by the user is performed, when facility icons are displayed on a full screen. A processing for displaying facility icons of predetermined kinds on the region indicated by the user is performed, when facility icons are not displayed on the full screen. The processing whether to display the facility icons on the indicated region is performed, to display them by two or more steps in accordance with the times indicated by the user. Accordingly, POI icons of an optional facility species are sequentially set non-displayed or displayed. Final step for the display may also be set as all non-display or all display of POI icons. |
