PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a PDP capable of realizing a high yield when a phosphor ink is applied using an ink jet device.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the plasma display panel comprises a process in which a barrier rib (for example, barrier ribs 9) is formed and a plurality of recessed portions (for example, discharge cells 11) partitioned by the barrier ribs are formed and a process in which a phosphor ink is applied in the recessed portion using an ink jet device. The phosphor ink contains a phosphor and a solvent. The volume of the phosphor ink (for example, liquid drop 303) discharged at one time from a nozzle hole (302) installed in the ink jet device is less than 1/100 of the volume of the recessed portion. |
